FDI method

Growth Cartography is the method behind Marketing Engineering: evidence first, one supervised loop, measurable handoff.

Growth Cartography / Service Surface

Marketing engineering for the part after the strategy.

Your customers are already telling you what works. FDI turns that evidence into a supervised growth loop your team can run, measure, and improve without handing the business to an agent fleet.

No checkout. No black-box promises. A working decision surface and a human handoff.

The Signal Audit

Find the signal before you scale the system.

In a short, evidence-led engagement, we separate what customers actually said and did from the stories your channels have learned to tell.

What we will not do

We will not hide uncertainty in automation.

No agent fleet. No promise that a new tool fixes a weak offer. No vanity dashboard built before the measurement question is clear.

Human approval gateEvidence is accepted before it becomes a rule.
Human approval gateThe first machine ships only after the owner signs off on the loop.

The four-week Marketing Engineering Sprint

From audit to a machine your team can supervise.

$10,000. Four weeks. One growth loop selected for evidence, built with your team, and handed back with the operating receipts.

  1. WEEK 01

    Audit

Align on the commercial question, inspect the evidence, and agree what counts as a signal.

    Output: scope, baseline, decision log
  2. WEEK 02

    Growth Repo

Organise customer language, proof, hypotheses, approvals, and measurement into a durable working repository.

    Output: governed source of truth
  3. WEEK 03

    First Machine

Build one narrow loop: a human-approved movement from evidence to action. No fleet. No speculative layer.

    Output: runnable supervised loop
  4. WEEK 04

    Evidence and Handoff

Run the loop, capture what happened, document limits, and make ownership explicit for the next cycle.

    Output: receipts, playbook, handoff
Proof case · UWS Dad

Build the measurement habit before the growth story.

UWS Dad is an honest example of the operating pattern, not a disguised promise of results.

In the August 1–30, 2026 snapshot, the Ghost publication reported 95 unique visitors, 292 total views, and 13 free members. Paid membership was off: 0 paid members and $0 MRR.

The system also recorded at least 28 Instagram-tagged visitor entries and Ghost credited Instagram with 1 new free member. That is attribution evidence, not a claim about reach or impressions.

The next layer was supervised: a controlled Dad Brain founding-tester pilot, source-grounded meal planning, usage limits, feedback, and admin reporting. The work left a measurement trail instead of pretending every signal was a conversion.

Bring the evidence. We will find the first loop.

Tell us where the signal is stuck: customer language, channel behavior, measurement, or the handoff between them. We will reply with the right starting point.

The form uses FDI's existing inquiry capture. No payment is taken here.

Questions buyers should ask.

What is the $2,000 Signal Audit?

A focused review of your customer evidence, current channels, operating constraints, and measurement gaps. You receive a decision-ready Growth Repo and one supervised growth loop to take into a four-week sprint.

Is this an agent fleet or an automation project?

No. FDI designs one supervised growth loop first. Every consequential step has an explicit human approval gate. Automation follows evidence; it does not replace judgment.

What happens after the audit?

The next step is a $10,000, four-week Marketing Engineering Sprint: Audit, Growth Repo, First Machine, then Evidence and Handoff.

What does the UWS Dad example prove?

It shows an honest operating pattern: a measured publication, owned audience capture, attribution, and a controlled Dad Brain pilot. It does not claim paid growth or product-market fit.
